The JBFC has made the difficult decision to cancel all 2020 JBFC Summer Camp programs, encompassing the Viewing and Doing and On the Set experiences beginning June 29-August 14. Our decision follows Governor Cuomo’s announcement of no in-person summer school in New York State. We have determined that the requirements for social distancing and frequent disinfection of the facility and equipment are just not possible for us to guarantee in our camp environment.
To stay connected, we will be hosting a series of film challenges throughout the summer through our JBFC Education at Home ebulletin. These film challenges will be introduced by a skill learning activity followed by weekly film challenge activities. You and your child can jump in at any time!
The first of the film challenge series and activities will begin NEXT WEEK! Tune in Thursday morning for the introductory activity. A film challenge will come out the following two weeks using skills you learned from the introductory activity.
For a sneak peak of the film challenge rules, read below. We can’t wait to see what you create at home this summer!
