Coming Soon: Reel Change for Nonprofits

The Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) is pleased to announce that its ever-popular course Reel Change for Nonprofits will return this spring for a semester-long session.

Intended for employees of nonprofit/charity organizations, Reel Change for Nonprofits empowers students to utilize visual content and strengthen their organization’s ability to share its message. Led by JBFC faculty member Theresa Dawson, Reel Change will teach you how to make videos an effective part of your communication. Students will learn to write a script, and then shoot and edit their own projects.

Although no experience with media production or editing is necessary, the JBFC strongly recommends participation in organizational teams of two. Please note that Reel Change for Nonprofits requires an application in order to participate. Applications are now live HERE; as applications are submitted and reviewed by our staff, applicants will be notified of their acceptance.
