Educator Film Guides

By Sarah O'Hare, Interim Director of Education 05.14.20

The JBFC Education staff has been working closely with our educator community during this trying time. One of the biggest requests that we have gotten is suggestions for films to watch and discuss with their students.  Answering your call, we've created a few Educator Discussion Guides for films featured in our Education Film Library.  During normal operation, these films are available for screening for student groups of Certified Image, Sound, and Story Educators at the JBFC campus.  While this is not currently an option, film is still a great way to connect with your students and an excellent learning tool.

All of the films listed below are available to screen on free streaming sites like Tubi or through Kanopy by way of a Library Card. The Westchester Library System does have virtual sign ups for library cards.  Be sure to share this resource with your students and parents!
