Founded in 2001, the JBFC shows hundreds of films a year in our art house theater and has pioneered a unique approach to viewing and making media that is rooted in our commitment to visual literacy. In our classes at the Media Arts Lab, you’ll develop your own projects, learn to enjoy movies in new ways, and spend time with some of the most interesting people around.
With the fall semester of Courses @ the Lab in full swing, we’re thrilled to see the new and exciting ways our students are engaging with media. However, even more opportunities await! With three exciting workshops just for kids coming up in October and November, there are endless chances to create, innovate, and explore at the JBFC. Want to learn more?
