By Adrienne Frank, Education Outreach Coordinator 01.04.19

Happy 2019! We’re thrilled to be starting a new year with so many exciting things on the horizon.

Courses @ the Lab

Registration is open for Winter/Spring programs for kids, teens, and adults. Learners of all ages and experience levels can find the right fit for them, with a wide range of options, including filmmaking, gaming, animation, and film studies.

Spots are filling fast so register now!

Programs for Schools and Teachers

Did you know that we work with nearly 15,000 students and 250 teachers annually through field trips, professional development, and school partnerships?

This year we are excited to be offering various Classroom to Screening Special Events and workshops and professional development opportunities for teachers interested in bringing media literacy into their classroom.

Family Saturdays @ the Lab will return in March with free, hands-on activities for the whole family. March 2 will feature activities inspired by animation and the April 6 activities will explore the magic of green screens.

You can also join us for JBFC Kids films at the Theater, with new options every month.

Sign up for our ebulletins to stay up to date on all our offerings. We hope to see you this year!
