Teachers of grades 3-12 are invited to join us for the Image, Sound, and Story Teacher Institute. This three-day/18 hour, summer professional development program prepares teachers to lead instruction for the first three projects of the Image, Sound, and Story curriculum: "Image," "Sound," and "Story." Educators leave inspired to bring new literacy strategies to their class and receive support throughout the school year for successful, customized integration.
Image, Sound, and Story is the JBFC's flagship media education program. Teachers use dynamic films and activities that bring viewing and creating media into the classroom through ten projects:

Price: $500/teacher, $450/teacher for teams of 4 or more. The JBFC is committed to ensuring access to this experience; financial assistance is available.
