Summer is right around the corner and at the Jacob Burns Film Center that means it’s almost time for Summer @ the Lab! There are two ways to participate in Summer @ the Lab:
• Lab Camp (for campers entering grades 3-10)
• Summer Co-op (for campers entering grades 9-12).
To celebrate our tenth anniversary of Summer @ the Lab we are rolling out a new format: week long programs offering a different theme which give campers entering grades 3-10 opportunities to play, make, and explore a variety of media in our state-of-the-art production spaces.
Whatever your interests or skill levels are, we have something for you with a range of offerings from animation to green screening to web TV and more! Check out the Summer @ the Lab page to get more details and to register.
Camps are offered July 2-6 (no camp July 4), July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, and July 30-August 3.
If you’re entering grades 9-12 and looking for an on-set filmmaking experience this summer then Summer Co-op is the perfect fit! In this three-week program, groups collaborate to pitch, script, shoot, and edit an original narrative short. This exciting opportunity is the perfect next step for students who are ready to put their filmmaking skills to work on an original project. Learn more and register here!
