Save the Date: JBFC Hosts National Writing Project Webinar 12/8

By Paige Grand Pré, Education Communications Associate 11.09.16

The JBFC is proud to announce that we have partnered with the National Writing Project to present a webinar on our Image, Sound, and Story curriculum via their online platform, Educator Innovator

Educator Innovator "provides an online 'meet-up' for educators who are re-imagining education, and whose interests and spirits exemplify Connected Learning.  Educator Innovator and its partners support learning opportunities for teachers, youth workers, mentors, librarians, and museum educators that are open, re-mixable, and typically free or low-cost — and share the goal of more powerful and connected learning for youth. It does not see learning as the province of one institution or service, but rather sees our learning institutions and organizations as a larger ecosystem for learning, one that can be more powerful by being more connected."

We look forward to working with the National Writing Project on this exciting presentation and hope you will join us for what is sure to be an engaging and exciting look at how Image, Sound, and Story is re-imagining media arts curricula and instruction.

Our webinar will air LIVE on Thursday, December 8 on the Educator Innovator website. Join us! Stay tuned for more details.
