The JBFC Education Department is excited to announce an upcoming series of workshops hosted in partnership with PNW BOCES!

Join a community of teachers committed to supporting students' creative expression and critical thinking through the process of viewing and creating media. Learn how to use the JBFC's free online resources to help your students develop their capacity as storytellers and communicators. You'll also learn from classroom teachers who are effectively integrating these media arts strategies into ELA and Literacy instruction with the JBFC's Image, Sound, and Story curriculum.

With age-specific content for educators in Grades 4—5, 6—8, and 9—10, this hands-on, interactive workshop will leave you inspired and equipped to teach with the language of your students. Interested teachers should register through the BOCES website at the grade-specific inks below. Don't delay - space is limited! All workshops are from 8:30-11:30 am at the JBFC's Media Arts Lab.
